Lasha Markozashvili has obtained his doctoral degree from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan under the supervision of Professor Marek Zyromski. The work title was “System approach to the European Union Studies.” Currently he is an invited professor at three Georgian Universities.

Biography:

Archil Sikharulidze is a PhD student in Political Science at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and an invited lecturer at the same university. He actively writes on Russia, Russian-Georgian relations and, in general, post-Soviet space for various prominent media outlets such as OpenDemocracy, NewEasternEurope, RussiaDirect, Izvestia, OC-Media and etc.

Tinatini Dvalishvili, PhD Student

Biography:

Tinatini Dvalishvili is a PhD student at the School of Arts and Science of Ilia State University, with a major specialization in political science. In 2012, She obtained the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 ALRAKIS scholarship and studied at the Institute of Political Science and Governance of Tallinn University, Estonia. In 2014-2016, Ms. Dvalishvili became a grantee of the EUROEAST program financed by the EC and continued her PhD exchange studies at the faculty of Political Science and Journalism of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. Her PhD thesis is dedicated to the research of the cross-border cooperation among the Schengen states.

Pavel Koshkin, Ph.D

Biography:

deputy editor of International Desk at RBC Daily, a Russian independent newspaper, and a contributor for Forbes-Russia magazine. He is the former editor-in-chief of Russia Direct, an English-language analytical media outlet (now defunct). Koshkin is an alumnus of the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program administered by the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX). In 2011-2012, he participated in the Stanford U.S.-Russia Forum (SURF), which brings together leading Russian and U.S. pundits with enthusiastic students who want to improve bilateral relations between Russia and the U.S. He has a Ph.D. in international journalism from Lomonosov Moscow State University. His dissertation focused on the ways in which American columnists covered U.S.-China and U.S.-Russian relations in 2008-2013.
